An Old Conversation

I had a conversation with my friend, MingSheng, years ago, when “Brokeback Mountain” and “King Kong” were still hot. Mingsheng was a very good MV producer and director. He told me that 100 years ago, you could produce a movie, telling a story of “Romeo & Juliet” and became a classic. Then nobody felt interesting in one man loveing with one woman anymore, so the story should be two women love one man or versa vice (ex., The Graduate).

Then, when such an old story has nothing new, people will need “Brokeback”. After that, not too long, only “King Kong” could entertain them.

Looks like the nightmare will come true.

安装了一个google 搜索引擎，想搜索一下旧文。记忆里似乎写过这件事情， 但是一无所获。

很多年前，和朋友何四聊天。那是似乎断背山和金刚正上映。何四评论说，100年前拍部电影，描述一个凄美的爱情故事，例如罗密欧和朱丽叶，就可以成为经典。但是渐渐的大家口味就变了，要两个女人爱一个男人或者相反的故事，才能吸引人了。以后，“毕业生”赢得奥斯卡。但是渐渐的这样的故事也不行了，于是只能拍“断背山”。等到高等法院都通过违宪审查以后，就只有金刚可以吸引人了。

我的教授Dr.D说，在美国，从法律的层面上说，我们已经渐渐输掉了这场战争。基督徒如何面对这类问题，如何和这种局面相处，是我们要思考的问题。
